Dip in the Kettle

On Saturday we went to Fred and Gail's to celebrate the annual "Dip in the Kettle". It is a tradition that my family has where you dip bread into a kettle then put delicious meat on top. It was fun to see the babies in my family that are around the same age as Breven. There are 4 babies that range from 5-7 months 3 boys and 1 girl. There was also another baby girl that was just born on December 16th so next year there are going to be a lot of little ones running around. We had a ton of fun! Make sure to check out the video at the bottom of the post!

Here is part of the family in rotation for some good food.
Breven was so worn out he needed a little cat nap.

Here is Grandpa Dean relaxing.... I love this man!

Breven's cousin Cole.. I think it is safe to say that he has caught up now..

Auntie Tanya with Cole

Jim and Erica

Grandma Myrna and her sister Nea

I was so lucky to get this on video!!!! You can tell that Breven is trying his hardest to keep the Nuk in his mouth on the 3rd time... I don't think he could have sucked harder if he tried. The other baby is Sabastian and they are sitting Gary's lap getting to meet on another.
LMAO!!!!
Breven had his 6 month check up on the 16th and he got a clean bill of health. He weighed 15lbs 13oz and was 26.25 inches long. He has been loving his big boy food and is ALWAYS ready to eat. So far he has had peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, carrots, and squash... tomorrow he will get to try his first fruit! It is so cool to see him turn into more of a little boy than a baby.
Also on Saturday we had our friend Melanie fly in from Florida and stay with us for the night. We have not seen her since the wedding and it was really great to catch up with her. We took pictures, but they are on her camera so we will post them later for you all to see.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!
