Pretty in Pink!

So we had our ultrasound yesterday and we are having a girl! Sounds like we are going to be going back in a couple of weeks for another ultrasound, but I wont know for sure until after my doctor appointment on Monday. The tech said that the baby is measuring at 17 weeks and not 19 weeks, which I don't get because there is NO way my dates are wrong. Guess I will have to see what the doctor says... but we are SUPER excited! As we all know the Olsen men don't produce many girls, so we got really really lucky! We are going to name her Kyrie Lynn Olsen.

Breven's 4th tooth came through today! It is his top left tooth and it is just the very corner of it that has broken through so far. I brought him out shopping for several hours yesterday and I am amazed at how good he was. He loves to ride in carts and swing his legs and look around at everything. He also came with to the ultrasound and it was funny because Matt was holding him and it seemed like he was talking to the screen... almost like he knew what was going on. Super cute! He continues to get into more and more things everyday. He somehow managed to find the only drawer in the house without a safety latch on it! Boy oh boy (or maybe I should say girl lol) are we going to have our hands full!

Here is Breven playing in the VCR. Ever since he discovered it he does it all day!

It's only a matter of time before he is sticking things in there..

And here are our first ever pictures of Kyrie!

Discoveries!

Breven had his 3rd tooth come through on Tuesday! It is his top right tooth, and the left one isn't far behind. He has been making lots of discoveries over the last week such as; its super fun to put your hand in the VCR slot, Lando is the perfect mountain to climb over, the green button on the computer shuts it off, if you pull hard enough on the phone cord the internet goes out, the best teething ring is Mommy's arm, if you slam your sippy cup down hard enough on the high chair tray apple juice flies everywhere, its really fun to try to crawl away during diaper changes, if you kick your legs and laugh in a grocery cart people give you lots of attention, and last but not least ...bath time is perfect for finding and playing with newly discovered body parts.

Matt and I have also had a busy week. We had to completely disassemble the fence in our pasture and lock it away due to a renter failing to pay rent. Next weekend we will be putting up our new fence around our yard. We are really excited not to have any more leashes in the yard! We plan on fencing in about 2 acres. We are hoping that the weather will be nice so we can grill for all of the helpers and finish the night up with a bonfire. Then on Sunday we are going to plant our pumpkin seeds for our first ever pumpkin patch! We had a really good first Easter with Breven and the families, although we forgot the camera. Hope that you all had a good holiday! Enjoy the pics!

Grandma Laurie took me shopping and got me some new pajamas! Super cute!

Hi Mommy!
Taking a break
When he is not crawling over Lando, he pratices on his puppy pillow.
Half way there!
I did it! Yay!
Love hanging out in the warm weather with as little clothing as possible. He can crawl much easier!

Hola!

Pounce!

Ooh a foot..

Me and Great Grandpa!

Aunt Sue.. love you too!

Nice picture Uncle Jim!

Totally asleep and bent in half
Pulling out all of my legos so Mom and Dad can put them back when I am done.
Now for the real test...

My best play mate!

Here is a picture that I am VERY proud of. Breven actually looks a little like me when I was his age. Hey I know it is only one picture, but when you have a kid that is an exact clone of his father it's nice to see yourself in him every once in a while.. lol!

I didnt have hair until I was like 2.. look like a boy... thanks Mom :)

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house on Wednesday and Breven had such a good time there that he actually got the giggles. More photos and stuff are to come but we thought you would like to see it...

Basketball player?

So yesterday we had Breven's 9 month check up. He was 29 inches long and 19 pounds. He is in the 75th percentile for his height and 25th percentile for his weight. So to sum it up he is long and skinny.. wonder where he gets that from :) He checked out with a clean bill of health.

We have been pretty bad at taking pictures lately, but with Easter coming up we will be sure to take a lot and update them.
A couple of weeks ago we spent some time with our friends Amand and Jeremy. Their son (our God son) Blake and Breven had a good time playing together!

Blake was doing such a good job sharing his truck with Breven. He even helped push him around.

Blake giving Breven a kiss.. too cute!

Last weekend Matt and I went on a mission to get Breven some new pajamas. He has grown out of all of his 12 month old pajamas so we had to search for some 18 month ones. We lucked out and found some at Old Navy that fit him perfectly!

Gosh he still looks like a mini-Matt!

Saturday would have been Mom's 45th birthday so we are planning on hanging out and watching movies. Then on the 8th which is the one year anniversary of her passing we are going to Grandma's to make homemade pizzas and hang out with the family. It's going to be a rough week, but at least we will all be surrounded by family.

We are still not sure if we are having a boy or girl, but we are super excited to find out. Can't wait! We are also waiting for the warm weather to come back so we can hang out outside again. Matt has had a couple of fencing companies come over for estimates so hopefully we will have a leash-free yard in a couple of weeks. That will be SO nice. Well check back soon! Hope you all have a great Easter!
