I had my 24 week check up and everything went really well. I am measuring at 25 weeks so the baby is growing perfectly. It was just Breven and me that went to this appointment. He was in the room crawling on the floor when my doctor put the Doppler on my tummy to hear the baby's heartbeat. As soon as Breven heard her heartbeat he immediately stopped crawling and just started rocking back and forth. Then the baby moved so the heartbeat cut out and Breven started crawling again. When the doctor found the heartbeat again, Breven did the same thing and just rocked back and forth on his knees. I think that he may remember that noise.. it was super cute!

Breven has officially learned how to eat finger foods!!!! YAY! Sounds like a small thing, but we feel like it is a huge accomplishment. I think his favorite thing to eat now is Cheerios. He is also getting closer to walking every day. His other favorite thing right now is purple Lego's. We have tons of Lego's in all different colors, but he only plays with the purple ones. He brings one every where with him now. I dint know what it is about the purple he likes, but whatever makes him happy works for me!

He also seems to be getting taller every day. We wont have him measured again for about another month, but I wouldn't be surprised if he has grown a couple of inches. He still has 4 teeth (two on top, two on bottom) that have come through, but he is about to have 2 more break through on the top any day now. Other then that we are just hanging out enjoying the warm weather and trying to fit as much as we can in this summer before Kyrie comes along!

See my bottom teeth

my pal Lando (as usual)

who's hand is bigger?

I know the outfit is very stylish lol! He loves crawling around in the kitchen now!

Here is the day that our house got up to 90 degrees. I refused to turn on the air and when I changed Brevens diaper he wouldn't let me put another one on. He are the pictures of Sassy Naked Boy!

Finally fenced in!!!!

We have had a lot happen since our last post. I did have my doctor appointment about 2 weeks after my ultrasound and I was measuring about 1.5 weeks ahead of my due date. So with me measuring 1.5 weeks ahead and 2 weeks behind on my ultrasound my doctor said the due date is still 09.16.09 and as long as she keeps growing on schedule everything is fine. However if I go over my due date again they will probably not induce me this time. I will have my next appointment in two weeks to make sure everything is still on track.

Breven has had a lot of firsts since our last post as well. He can now pull himself up and stand! He will let go for a couple of seconds and just stand there, but he falls down pretty quickly. We have been spending a lot of time working on teaching him to feed himself and eat finger foods, and how to walk. He has also experienced his first bonfire, garage sales, swinging outside, and playing on the grass. We are coming up to his first birthday party as well which will be a blast! I think that we are going to grill out at a beach for the day weather permitting.

A couple of weeks ago we finally, finally put up a fence! This has been the biggest change in our lives since the last post! It is so great to not have any dangerous leashes in the yard anymore. With the help of some great friends and lots of beer we were able to get the whole fence up in one Saturday. We had Matt's Mom Laurie here to watch Breven, our friends Amanda and Earl and Amanda and Jeremy, and my uncle Eddie put up the fence. Thanks guys! We ended up with some extra fencing so soon we will be fencing in a garden. Matt and I planted some watermelons and raspberries yesterday for Mother's day and we will be planting the pumpkins in two weeks. Right now they are starting off inside and once the garden fence goes up we will transplant them outside.

My first Mother's day went really good. Matt made pancakes for breakfast and cleaned the house. In the evening Jeff and Laurie came up for dinner. After they left we did our planting and got a couple of hours to relax. So I'm sure I forgot tons of things, but that's all until next time...

Lando is the biggest chair stealer in the world!

This is the very first time Breven ever stood up. I was able to grab the camera quick enough. Too bad it turned out blurry.. I'm still proud of it though!

Diaper hanging out.. cute!
